Here at Daisy Award Residential Care, we provide the following:
Basic Services:
- Care and supervision
- Safe and healthful living accommodations and services
- Three nutritionally well-balanced meals and snacks are available daily, including low salt or other modified diets prescribed by a doctor as medically necessary.
- Personal assistance and care as needed by the resident and as indicated in the pre-admission appraisal. Assistance is provided to aid with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, eating, bathing, and supervision with taking prescribed medications.
- Assistance with medication management overseen by a registered nurse.
- Regular observation of the physical and mental condition of the residents.
- Arrangements to meet health needs, including arranging transportation to appointments
- Planned activity programs that include social and recreational activities appropriate to the interests and capabilities of the residents.
Our facility has awake staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Optional Services
- Facility has a Department of Social Services (DSS) approved Dementia Program. We provide care to residents that have dementia or dementia-related diagnoses. We offer specialized activities specific to residents with Dementia that include but are not limited to activities that include cognitive/mental stimulation.
- Facility has an approved Hospice Waiver. Residents requiring hospice services will not have to leave their homes; they may remain in the facility while receiving hospice services. The facility will work with the hospice agency of the resident and/or their family’s choice to collaborate care.
We at Daisy Award Residential Care will work with home health agencies to collaborate on care and services for all residents receiving home health services.
